Day 20. Wednesday, 23rd June. Porthcurno to Marion. Weather. Ditto. Today's walk definitely had a time constraint. Got the earliest bus back to Porthcurno and had to pay. "Sorry sir your bus pass isn't valid until 9.30." Quite a strenuous walk to Lamorna Cove then on to Mousehole. Easier walking on the approach to Penzance but the clock was ticking. Needed to be near a telly by 3. Made it with enough time to spare to visit the launderette before KO. A much better game but we need to improve if we're going to overcome the Germans on Sunday. Two pints of Betty Soggs during the game. Had to wall a further three miles along a beach-side footpath to Marazion to complete the day.15 miles, total now 277. 20 different ales but Tribute predominates. No sign of Black Prince as yet.
