Day 1. After an uneventful train journey ( thanks Paul for the lift to the station ) to Taunton and a similar bus ride to Minehead, I finally got going at 12.40. Weather. Warm sunny intervals becoming more cloudy. Walked to Bossington then on to Porlock Weir. Not that inspiring. Stayed at a farmhouse where the landlord delivered me to the local.2 pints of Tribute and a fish supper.12 miles done, 618 to go. Pictures following.
